NSS or Network Security System is a set of libraries systems specially designed to support server or client enabled applications. NSS have to support all open-source implementations compatible with SSL and S/MIME. Mozilla and Google is two great server corporations which provide source code repositories based on SSL security protocol. One beneficial thing to having Network Security System is that your network corporation will be more secure. It allows you to consider risk-management, firewall, and other network threats upon your networking devices.
One network source that you have to secure is IP (internet protocol) or TCP (transport control protocol). It becomes such language of internet. Everyone who can operate these protocols is able to carry out internet application easily. With IP, your computer system can be talking with each others systems. It doesn’t really have an authentication system for your computer. Physical network address, such as 10.5.3.6 is one example of your IP system, and that’s not really secure. With Network Security System, you are able to avoid any kind of attacks against IP. Usually the firewall systems were available in every computer system. It is one kind of network security that allows you to protect your system. However, such Virtual Private Network (VPN) may be the best choice in networking two great servers, but it doesn’t guarantee other server systems to connect with this one. Good news is that some firewall vendors are trying to build a secure VPN to be integrated with their product or service.
